Ejiofor Chukwudubem Innocent:
‘APPROACH B’ TO HOW I DO MY REALISTIC DRAWINGS (Tutorial 3)
Mediums:Charcoal pencil, graphite pencil, white gel pen, tombow mono, kneaded eraser on creamy cartridge paper.
REMEMBER, steps under each photo.
Having done the main eyes, I will proceed to the creating the upper “lacrimal punctum”, don’t be afraid, that’s the name of the second line directly above the eyelid, I learnt that when I was doing eye study last year. I used my 7b steadtler for that.
I used my 2b for sketches, so that’s what I used for the shrinked forehead marks, this way it will help me know to tone the drawing.
I started to shade down using 6b steadtler tradition (hatching method first), the pencil is smooth in feel than Mar lumograph, so to create a smooth first laying I use my tradition, then go over it with steadtler Mars lumograph. Make a dot with your kneaded eraser and use you 2b pencil to create a curve, that ways the pimple pores comes out.
Keep following.. This is where we are going…
